    Tanya SM Kennedy FAQ

Question: Are there any triggers in your books?

    Answer:

My books contain fighting and evil. You are likely to run onto some scenes that may be troubling to you.

All of my books contain violence and fighting. They are full of battles, there is no getting around the gore.

Main triggers I would advice against are as follows:

The Terarch Rebellion / The Terarch Raivien

    • Rape
    • Violence toward women
    • Enslavement
    • Battery
    • Death
    • Sexual content

    An Assassin’s Redemption

    • Abusive relationships
    • Harassment both sexual and bullying
    • Child abuse
    • Sexual content

    The Battle for Trimera

    • Panic attacks
    • Abduction

    A Maiden in the Foxcombe

    • Bullying
    • Sexism

Question: I am shopping for a younger woman and am concerned about sexual content. Which book would you recommend?

Answer: Most of my books have a romantic subplot that can at times include sexual situations and at times sex.

If you are looking for a story that is safe for younger readers, A Maiden in the Foxcombe has no sexual scenes. The story was specifically written with the intention of the lead never being in a romantic relationship. She is asexual.

Question: What are you currently working on?

Answer: I am currently on edits for the sequel to The Battle for Trimera called High Priestess Pria. I am hoping to release this book later this year.

Question: Who are your books for?

Answer: My ideal reader is looking for something impactful, fantasy with a purpose. Whether they feel alone in the world for not being what society wants them to be, or feeling helpless in a society they wish they could make a difference in, my books offer a place to find connections.

My characters all have to prove themselves and find a way to change the world around them. I want to foster that feeling in my readers and just maybe inspire them to make a difference in our world.
